Map of Science

The science council has been working on a really cool interactive map of scientists in the UK to highlight the wide variety of science that goes on around the country and the variety of scientific careers that people can pursue.

There are also a lot of cool science girls on the map :0) From Elizabeth Barron up in Inverness, who teaches a wide range of science classes and does some really fun stuff with the Inverness Science Festival, to Emma Shanks who’s a noise and vibration research scientist in the Peak District and Katie in Cardiff who works in science policy.

There’s also one or two people elsewhere in the world who are on the map, try zooming out!

If you do any kind of science why don’t you add yourself to the map and highlight the great work you’re doing.

If you’re not doing science yet but would like to, who inspires you the most?
